Year 2005 Reunion and Annual General
Meeting of members
Our ninth yearly get together was held on
September 24th in Brossard at the L’Academie restaurant.
More than 30 members with their spouse have fraternized during
the cocktail offered by the Association. A sense of friendship
was in the air. Alphonse St-Jacques (08), presided the Annual
General Meeting and presented the annual Presidential Report
and the financial results as of March 2005. In the absence of
new candidates all the directors were re-elected. All life time
members will receive a laminated ancestrallines.

Year 2004 Reunion and Annual General
Meeting of members
Our yearly get together took place at
l’Impressionniste for a second consecutive year.
Approximately thirty members with their spouses and family
cheerfully enjoyed the activities on this magnificent day of
September 11, 2004. Laminated ancestral lines where handed over
to lifetime members who had not received one. The financial
results where presented and the directors where elected.

Year 2003 Reunion and Annual General
Meeting of members
The seventh yearly reunion took place at
the restaurant L’impressionniste in Saint-Eustache on
Saturday September 13, 2003. On this bright and sunny day more
than 70 persons fraternized during the cocktail offered by the
Association. Laminated ancestral lines where handed over to
Denis St-Jacques (20) from Montréal and to Roger
St-Jacques (159) from Stoke, as lifetime members of the
Association.

Year 2002 Reunion and Annual General
Meeting of members
The reunion of 2002 took place at the
Two-Mountains Nautical Club On this occasion, we launched our
first ”Repertory of Marriages of the Cheval and
St-Jacques Families”. (Link to the repertory) The participants very well received this document.
As in previous years, the reunion was a great success.

Year 2001 Reunion and Annual General
Meeting of members
The fifth annual Dinner of the
Association was held on Saturday, June 16, 2001 at the
Reception Hall of the Jean Renaud sugar house. The atmosphere
was joyous and guests and members came from New York state and
various regions of Ontario and Quebec. A real social success.

Year 2000 Reunion and Annual General
Meeting of members
The Annual General Meeting of members was
held on June 17, 2000, preceded by a visit of the studios of
Radio Canada and a lunch at Brasserie La Mère Clavet.
The Annual General Meeting and the
election of the Board followed. Two new members were elected to
the Board: Gaston St-Jacques (02) of St-Benoît and Marc
St-Jacques (190), of Hull.

1999 Reunion and Annual General Meeting of
members
June 5, 1999
The day started with a guided tour of
Maison Saint-Gabriel, located at 2146, Dublin Street, in
Pointe-St-Charles. This house was built in 1668 for Marguerite
Bourgeoys where she lodged “les Filles du Roy” and
taught school to the first inhabitants of Ville-Marie (Now
Montreal).
Members then had a buffet breakfast at
the Magnan Tavern where the Annual General Meeting and the
election of the Board took place.

Trip to Europe
From September 10 to 26, 1999
Locations visited: France, Luxembourg and
Belgium, with a special day and meetings in Tournai, Belgium,
the birthplace of our ancestor, Jacques Joseph Cheval.
